.About the Role

 

Firstbase is looking to hire a warehouse associate to join our company’s operations department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, counting and verifying inventory levels, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, as well as managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. To ensure success as a warehouse associate, you should display impeccable organizational skills and experience working in a fast-moving warehouse. Ultimately, a top-notch warehouse associate should have a razor-sharp eye for detail and excellent knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory management

 

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Collecting merchandise deliveries and safely binning materials into the appropriate bins
  • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
  • Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
  • Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor
  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
  • Managing all merchandise with appropriate care
  • Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
  • Creating and printing shipping labels
  • Building shelves and racks
  • Lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Performing cycle counts when indicated
